Our villages have a range of stylish, architecturally designed independent living apartments. These come in a variety of configurations, ranging from studios to three bedrooms, with open plan living, modern kitchens, balconies, and one or more bathrooms. For peace of mind, all apartments feature 24-hour, onsite monitored emergency call buttons. The apartments have either undercover parking, or access to a carport or car space.

External maintenance of the apartments and landscaped gardens is looked after by village staff, which means you have time to live life to its fullest, and enjoy all the social and recreational activities and programs available within the community as well as your own interests. To help enhance your lifestyle, many of our villages have coordinators who arrange a variety of exciting activities and events, both on and off site, each week. And we have community bus services to transport you to local shopping centres and medical appointments.

It’s the ideal solution for seniors who can no longer live on their own at home, yet don’t need 24-hour, complex medical supervision. It’s also an option for seniors who want to free themselves of cooking, cleaning and heavy laundry tasks.

Our focus is on keeping residents as independent as possible, by providing a tailored plan of assistance, which can include help with daily activities, such as bathing, dressing and medication reminders. Our residents enjoy well appointed living spaces (all with ensuites and 24-hour village monitored emergency call systems), delicious well-balanced meals, social activities and entertainment, transportation and individually tailored assistance and care. Aevum Living's nursing homes, located at Lourdes and Cardinal Freeman villages, provide a high level of 24-hour nursing and personal care for seniors who are less independent or frail and have been assessed by the Aged Care Assessment Service. We place a premium on preserving our residents' dignity and self-respect, while providing quality standards of nursing care. Both our nursing homes have received accreditation from the Aged Care Standards and Accreditation Agency Limited.

Our nursing homes are designed for people who need medical/rehabilitative and restorative care. Together with round-the-clock supervisory nursing care, our facilities feature purpose built or specially modified accommodation, in addition to support and personal care services. These include cleaning, laundry, meals, and assistance with bathing, personal hygiene, eating, transport, as well as essential health services such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy, recreational therapy and podiatry.

The type and amount of care a person receives is dependent on what is needed to maintain his or her 'normal' lifestyle.
